Confined Space Shutdown Sentry / Stand by March 22 – March 29

Location: Hemmant, QLD Dates: March 22nd – March 29th Work Type: Short-term Contract / Casual

We are currently seeking experienced Confined Space Sentries for an upcoming short-term shutdown in Hemmant. This is a critical safety role requiring high attention to detail and a commitment to zero-harm workplace practices.

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00

• Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00

Project Schedule & Vacancies

• March 22 – March 29: 1x Day Shift | 1x Night Shift

• March 24 – March 27: 1x Day Shift | 1x Night Shift

• Potential for ongoing project work following successful completion.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

• Drug & Alcohol Testing: Must be able to pass a pre-employment and/or random D&A test.

• RIIWHS202E: Enter and work in confined spaces (Current within 2 years).

• MSMPER200: Work in accordance with an issued permit (Current within 2 years).

• MSMWHS217: Gas test atmospheres.

• White Card: General Construction Induction.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring personnel entry/exit and maintaining accurate logs.

• Ensuring strict adherence to permit conditions.

• Constant atmospheric monitoring using gas detection equipment.

• Maintaining a high level of alertness and safety over 12-hour shifts.
